WHAT WE DO

Together, we can

make a difference.

NAWCA NGO has a number of different programs and initiatives. These include:

  • Tree plantation: The NGO plants trees in urban and rural areas to improve air quality, reduce noise pollution, and provide shade and habitat for wildlife.

  • Water harvesting: An important way to conserve water and ensure a sustainable water supply. Water harvesting involves collecting rainwater and storing it for later use. This can help to reduce the amount of water that is used from rivers and lakes, which can help to protect these water bodies.

  • Ecosystem restoration: The NGO works to restore degraded ecosystems, such as uplands, wetlands and forests. This work helps to protect biodiversity and improve water quality.

  • Education: The NGO educates the public about the importance of trees, water harvesting and the environment. This work is done through school programs, community events, and online resources.

Tree Plantation & Water Conservation NGO

Our way of working

Volunteers & donations support our projects.

All tree plantations water harvesting projects are managed by experts.

Throughout the year we nurture the trees to ensure a high survival ratio.

Awareness and positivity is spread through digital media.

Planting Native Species

It is important to plant native species of trees. Native trees are adapted to the local climate and soil conditions, so they are more likely to survive and thrive. They also provide important habitat for native wildlife.

Plant and Maintain

Only planting trees will not help the environment. We need to nurture them as well. Here are some of the ways that NAWCA NGO takes care of the trees that they plant:

  • Watering: Trees need regular watering, especially during their first year. NAWCA NGO volunteers water the trees that they plant on a regular basis.

  • Mulching: Mulch helps to retain moisture and suppress weeds, which can help the trees to thrive. NAWCA NGO volunteers mulch around the trees that they plant.

  • Pruning: Pruning helps to remove dead or diseased branches and to shape the trees. NAWCA NGO volunteers prune the trees that they plant on a regular basis.

  • Monitoring: NAWCA NGO volunteers monitor the trees that they plant to ensure that they are healthy and thriving. This includes checking for pests and diseases and providing additional care if needed.

It is important to encourage people to plant trees and then take care of them. Trees are a vital part of our ecosystem, and they provide many important benefits. NAWCA NGO has goal of a 70% survival ratio over a 5-year timeline. We are committed to planting and taking care of trees.
